Burnishing
Burnishing dry transfers is easy

After separating the protective backing sheet from the transfer sheet (transfer base) the rubdown transfer is placed, adhesive side down, on the chosen substrate (paper, wood, metal, plastic, glass etc). Rubbing the burnisher back and forth while holding the transfer base securely in place causes adhesion of the image. The transfer base turns slightly milky where the transfer occurred, thereby revealing the areas that may have been missed. Finally, bending back a corner of the carrier sheet and slowly peeling it away, exposes the transferred image. To ensure smooth, permanent adhesion, the protective backing sheet should be placed over the image and burnished again.
